“In this episode, Dhru and Reverend Beckwith discuss how we are in the ending of one world, the beginning of another, and the possibilities for this new world. They also discuss the true meaning of sacrifice, and the role it plays during these times. Also covered – what it means to participate in the unfolding of change that is happening in the world right now, and what we can do to make a difference.” – A synopsis of podcast: History in the Making – Are You a Participant or Bystander?

The Cleveland Clinic appointed Mark Hyman, MD, as the first Director of the Center for Functional Medicine in late 2014.  I have been following his publications since the early 2000’s – a significant period during which I was with my parents at the ranch.

“Broken Brain,” the title of his podcast series, is a reference to his own health crisis and healing in very recent years – since his appointment at The Cleveland Clinic Center.

Today’s Interview

Today his host for the podcast, Dhru Purohit, interviews Rev. Michael Beckwith. Regarding the current “Awakening” which we are experiencing, Rev. Beckwith responds, “I’m feeling good, in spite of…!”

What we are experiencing, he states, is a visionary walk toward change by ALL people willing to look at themselves – a movement in which we are saying, “World, we can do better.”

His church is building a service consciousness which sees the whole world as the community. Founded in 1986 in LA, the church offers three online services on Sundays and can be found at this link:  AgapeLive.com
