CONTENT:

The sessions will include a short meditation, talks by Frank and Roshi, small groups, and opportunities for participants to ask questions or share their experience.

DATES:

This series of online conversations will be held on three consecutive Mondays 4/27, 5/4, and 5/11 from 11:00am MDT (10 am PDT). Join us for one or all three programs.

Monday, April 27

Finding Balance in Uncertain Times  – With constant reminders to keep our distance, sanitize kitchen counters and scrub potentially dangerous virus from our hands, we can easily become habituated to wariness and hyper-alertness which in turn lead to physical and emotional exhaustion. In this webinar, we will explore pragmatic practices to help us regulate our inner alert alarms and restore the stability, calmness and clarity needed for wise discernment and compassionate action.

Monday, May 4

Opening and Cultivating the Human Heart in the Midst of Difficult Conditions – In this webinar, we will explore the need to ground ourselves, open, and cultivate our human heart. The webinar will introduce practices to cultivate and strengthen four essential human qualities of love needed to face life’s hardships, and to care profoundly without becoming overwhelmed.

Monday, May 11

Wise Hope, No Matter What – In this webinar, we will explore how hope is a basic human need and can be an optimizing force that includes buoyancy, resourcefulness, courage, and imagination. To be helpful hope requires both a clear intention and a simultaneous letting go.
